The Dream

In the clouds far, far away there was a dream,

A dream that I can no longer touch,

A dream I can no long feel.

What’s done is done,

You can’t change the past,

That dream is no longer there.

But, I will wait months and years for that same dream to reappear.

And when it does I will soar high,

For that dream will soon be mine.

I will take it and never look back,

For this dream is rare and not just on any open rack.

This dream will take me on and on and on,

It will let me live life and take me farther than ever

So if you believe that dreams aren’t far away in the clouds,

They're right beside you and you will vow.

Now the dream is back a couple of years later.

This will be my only saviour.

If you keep going and never give up,

Your hopes and dreams will come true but that couldn’t come soon enough!

Don’t listen to people who have doubts,

Because they don’t know what life’s about.

Reach for the stars no matter what hits you,

Because we all have a special talent if only we knew.

We can reach for our dreams together ,

Because we will believe in one another.
