What You are to Me

Since I was your little girl,

In all that we have been through.

You have always been my hero.

No one stood as tall as you.

You have always cared for me,

More than any person I know.

I love you so so, much.

I don’t know what life would be like if you had to go.

I really want you to get well soon.

I hate seeing you struggle so much.

I miss our morning drives,

I would give anything up for you, please tell me Monday wasn’t our last touch!

Anorexia vs. Tragedy

Anorexia

disorder, skinny,

starving, dyeing, loosing,

loneliness, fatigue, hopeless, hurt,

crying, hurting, sobbing,

discontent, sorrow

Tragedy

World vs. Life

World

colossal, polluted,

progressing, populating, spinning,

land water, oxygen, everywhere,

learning, dyeing, living

complex, short,

Life

Fire vs. Heart

Fire

hot, bright

burring, flaming, cooking

forest, match, organ, blood,

pumping, circulating, moving,

red, delicate,

Heart

A Spakesperian Love Story

Two individuals waiting for love,

Wondering if they will ever find it.

Their hearts have been broken a lot before.

Their love story is coming bit by bit.

They finally meat, here’s how it started.

It was a cool Sunday evening,

They were wondering along the rocky stream.

He saw her first just as he was leaving.

I have gone everywhere looking you.

She was flattered because she felt the same.

They felt like they knew each other before.

There’s a connection everything just came.

Two individuals who have found love,

They are happy together life is a dove.

One Day

What do you do when you are sitting in a dark closet?
When you have no one to vent and there is no faucet.
You try to think happy but nothing comes out,
When you have no friend to turn to when you wandering about.
The only thing you do is sit along,
As there is nothing to eat and your listening to you stomach grown.
I am the ugly duckling; will my beauty ever shine through?
I have no one, if only they knew.
I sit on the streets and the kids just laugh
Because I am as dirty as a mutt and there is no bath.
But I still hope that one day I will be better than that
Because I am trying to make something from nothing if only
They knew that.
Every night I am lonely and cold,
I am looking food but it is all mold.
What do I do? I am tired of this.
I am 48 years old and I haven't even had my first kiss.
I want to leave this world but, I would be letting down the people
like me.
We don't have a voice because people just let us be.
We need help, we need a new start.
Don't just hand us an old shopping cart.
We try to get jobs but they don't except us.
They just tell us no and threw us under the bus.
But, even after all of this I still hope that someone will help homelessnes,
And that you will not think of us as less.
Don't just read this poem and forget about it,
Please donate even a bit.
